Our two companies have each been in operation for over 150 years and are widely recognised for the high quality of their tannage.

 Tannery Fortier Beaulieu, founded in 1840 in Roanne, France, was originally known for the manufacturing of technical and military leathers.

Tannery Masure, founded in 1873 in Estaimbourg, Belgium, has become a benchmark in the world of vegetable tanning for leather goods and the manufacture of sole leather.

The end of the 20th century has been a turning point in the leather industry. During this period both tanneries have supported the development of luxury leather-goods brands by combining their historic expertise and fine raw materials.

The Saturne Group was created in 2014 through the merger of these two tanneries to form a single independent family business. The aim of this merger was to combine the expertise of both companies in the perpetual search for perfection.
